Our way of valuing the bond we share with you is by listening to your needs and enhancing our services so you can teach at your best and not worry about bumps on the road. We’ve implemented Roles and Permissions for better management of teaching spaces, made the search screen more readable, among other improvements.

⭐ Roles & Permissions

Goal: Allow institutions to create custom roles and assign permissions.

Update: Roles and permissions is now live in all institutions and help ensure that educators in Aula have the right level of access, aligned with how responsibilities are set up at their institution. This reduces confusion, prevents accidental changes, and makes it clearer what actions you can take in each Aula space.

🔐 Default Role Changes (in admin dashboard)

Goal: Prevent accidental high-level access.

Update: The default role has been changed from Educator to Student. The Student role now appears first in the list. This reduces the risk of assigning educator access to students by mistake.

🆔 Student ID Display Improvements

Goal: Reduce grade confusion in large classrooms where multiple students have the same name.

Update: Student ID is now displayed next to student names and in student list screen below email ID, added to Export Grade screen, and included in CSV downloads.

📊 Recently Viewed – Enhanced Navigation

Goal: Improve usability of MySpace page.

Update: Users now return directly to the exact place they last visited instead of navigating to MySpace homepage which Improves usability and engagement.

🔍 Search Screen Improvement

Goal: Improve readability.

Empty space has been reduced and alignment has been improved. The search results are now clearer and easier to read.

🐞 Bug Fixes

📩 Older Conversations not Loading

Problem:
Older conversations accessed via search or link failed.

✔️ Solution:
All conversations now load correctly, including older ones.

⭐ Star/Unstar Space Glitch

Problem: Starring a space caused glitches when sorting or using archive.

‍✔️ Solution: We fixed the issue so starring and sorting now work correctly.
