Aula’s inclusion in the national framework expands access for UK universities and colleges to a collaborative, human-centred digital learning platform.

Aula Learning Experience Platform, part of Coventry University Group, has been appointed to the Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC) Framework under ITS1065 AP – Lot 1: Proprietary VLE Systems.

This appointment enables universities and colleges across the UK to procure Aula through a fully compliant, pre-approved route — providing an accessible and transparent pathway to adopt a proven, next-generation learning experience platform designed to strengthen engagement, collaboration, and learning outcomes.

APUC serves as Scotland’s collaborative procurement centre for the university and college sectors. By promoting innovation, best practice, and value for money, APUC supports institutions in achieving efficiency and excellence in digital education.

The inclusion of Aula on the framework reflects the growing demand for modern, learner-centred digital environments that make learning more human. Delivered commercially in the UK by Coventry University Enterprises Ltd, Aula provides a secure, cloud-based platform that simplifies course delivery, enhances student engagement, and supports data-informed teaching and learning.

Since its acquisition by Coventry University Group in January 2022, Aula has continued to evolve as a leading platform for learning transformation, empowering educators and students to build stronger learning communities and more connected experiences across disciplines and delivery modes.

“Being named to the APUC Framework represents a significant milestone for Aula and for Coventry University Group,” said Professor Jonathan Shaw, Director of Aula. “It reflects our shared commitment to improving the quality of digital learning and ensuring that technology continues to support inclusion, participation, and academic success.”
“We are proud that Aula’s innovative approach to engagement and collaboration is now more widely accessible through this trusted procurement route,” added Mark Cammies, Chief Executive Officer of Coventry University Enterprises Ltd. “This appointment demonstrates the strength of Coventry University Group’s EdTech capability and our ongoing investment in digital innovation for the wider education sector.”

With increasing expectations for flexible, high-quality learning and teaching experiences, Aula provides a modern, scalable, and sustainable solution. Its intuitive mobile-first interface, pedagogical foundations, and robust analytics tools help institutions reduce complexity while enhancing the impact of digital learning.

Partnership matters, Aula has teamed up with two powerhouses within the EdTech sector.
