A summary of the Aula Product Updates in March, 2026. Come learn how login got smoother, new ways of managing your teaching space, and more!

March has come to a close, and spring is in full swing 🌸A season of fresh starts and a great moment to keep improving the Aula experience for you.
This month, we focused on making everyday actions simpler and more reliable, from quicker logins to smoother navigation and fewer interruptions while teaching and managing your spaces.
✅ Completed Work
📲Easier Login on Mobile
Goal: Make logging into Aula quicker and more convenient.
Update: The mobile app now remembers the last email you used and suggests previously used emails as you type. You can simply tap to select an email instead of entering it again, saving time when logging in.
Your institution’s sign-in process and security settings remain unchanged.
⭐Improved ‘My Spaces’ Experience
Goal: Make it easier to browse and navigate through ‘My spaces’
Update: We’ve improved how spaces are displayed so they’re easier to scan and navigate. A scrollbar now appears when there are many spaces, and the layout clearly shows when more items are available. Long space names are also shortened to keep everything aligned and easy to read.
📊Download Group Lists
Goal: Make it easier to manage and review groups.
Update: You can now download a CSV file of group sets and group lists, making it simpler to review or work with group data outside Aula.
🐞 Bug Fixes
⏱️Unexpected Logouts (Handin)
Problem: Educators were sometimes logged out after being inactive, even while actions continued in the background.
✔️Solution: This has now been fixed. You should no longer experience unexpected logouts, and the inactivity message behaves as expected.
📝Editor Crashing When Editing Materials
Problem: In some cases, the editor would freeze or crash when opening certain materials.
✔️Solution: Editing should now work smoothly with no interruptions. Previously affected materials are being fixed gradually.
💻Chromebook Display Issue
Problem: A purple overlay was blocking access to content for some Chromebook users.
✔️Solution: This has been resolved, and compatibility with older browsers has been improved.
