Celebrating a Milestone: UWS's Continued Journey with Aula

We are over the moon!

One of our longest standing partner institutions have renewed their contract with us for a further two years! And it is great to see the engagement is as strong as ever, as their core learning experience platform, UWS  has over 14,000 students and more than 800 educators regularly active with our platform across over a thousand spaces. As a scalable platform, Aula is easily able to meet the dynamic needs of today’s higher education. This year alone UWS students created more than 10,000 posts in the feed and engaged with over 54,000 publications.

University of the West of Scotland was recently named Higher Educational Institution of the Year, at the 2022 Herald Higher Education Awards and is one of Scotland’s largest modern universities. UWS is not only renowned for its career focussed teaching and its modern pedagogy, but it also produces world leading Research. The last Research Excellence Framework, 90% of research was classified as world-leading or internationally excellent. This aligns with Aula's vision of making every learning experience active, applied and truly engaging through social learning since interaction and exchange among peers are integral aspects of good research.

Aula understands the fundamental role that assessment plays for learners to play an active role but crucially to apply their learning to succeed. During our time with UWS, the assignments feature has supported academics to create approximately 40% more assignments in the last two years alone. Customer feedback is very important to us at Aula, we are continually pushing ourselves to understand the needs of the future student with our product evolving all the time. We follow the latest standards which means our integrations allow seamless integration with the best-in-class educational tools preferred by our partner institutions.
